Golf Courses in Hong Kong
It isn’t hard to find golf courses in Hong Kong, it is however tough to find public golf courses in Hong Kong that will let you in. While the city has an absolute glut of golf courses, they’re almost all private member clubs. Luckily, many of the private clubs do open their doors at certain times, although green fees can be exorbitant. Below are listings of private clubs that allow the public through their doors and Hong Kong’s only public course.
Kau Sai Chau Public Golf Course
The only true public golf course in Hong Kong, the Jockey Club’s Kau Sai Chau Golf Course is one of the best in the region. Set on an island just off the coast from Sai Kung, these stunning 36-hole links designed by Gary Player are reached by dedicated ferry. The course is only open to non Hong Kong residents during the week, with fees starting at around HK$700 for a trip around eighteen holes. The South China sea that frames the course makes for plenty of Kodak moments.

They also have a full 18-hole course at Fanling which is host to the yearly Hong Kong open.
